A private hearing between Dr. Gideon Koren and senior officials of The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) and the University of Toronto takes place today in the hospital. Media are not invited to attend.
No announcement on the outcome of the hearing will be made until the Hospital’s Board of Trustees has been informed at a special meeting on Wednesday, January 5. A media briefing will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday to announce the decision to the public. The briefing will be in the Rotunda, the main entrance area on the first floor of The Black Family Foundation Wing off University Avenue.
