Community involvement

One of the many ways in which SickKids gives back to our community is through the United Way of Greater Toronto and the Terry Fox Run Corporate Challenge (Cancer Research). Last year, the hospital raised over $118,000 for the United Way. This was achieved through various events organized by the hospital's employees. Employees also contributed by pledging through payroll deductions, cash or cheque donations.
