				            <description><![CDATA[<p>The Hospital for Sick Children, Women’s College Hospital and Ryerson University are jointly hosting a two-day health ethics, research evidence and knowledge translation symposium in Toronto, Ontario. The Seeking Solutions Symposium will bring together ethicists, legal experts, researchers, practitioners, policy analysts, and community members to address access to care for individuals living in Canada without health insurance. Expert presentation syntheses and roundtable workshop discussions will examine ethical and legal debates, present emerging research evidence, share policy and practice experience, and develop concrete guidelines, recommendations and action plans to address this pressing health care &amp; service delivery need.    </p>]]></description>

				            <description><![CDATA[<p>Please join us for a special education event to honour Dr. Susan Tallett, Chief of Education, and to celebrate her retirement after almost 40 years at the Hospital for Sick Children. Dr. Tallett joined the Department of Paediatrics in 1976.  In 1991, Dr. Tallett was appointed Associate Chair, Education, and Director of the Core Paediatric Program. In October 2006, she accepted the position as Director of the newly formed SickKids Learning Institute and transitioned to the role of Chief of Education.  Dr. Tallett is recognized as one of SickKids’ most enthusiastic proponents of teaching and learning.  She is as an advocate for education, mentoring and supporting countless students and staff.  </p>]]></description>
