Fees
The services we provide to assist investigators in the initial development of a protocol or grant application are free of charge. Biostatistics, database development and data entry services are on a fee-for service basis and should be included in your budget.
For statistical analysis cost will vary depending on:
- Complexity of analysis
- Number of variables in database to be used & how organized the data is
- Format of the database
- Changes to the question and hypothesis
- Detail of statistical reports
- Availability of custom software
- Amount of time for explanation
For database design/entry cost will vary depending on:
- Number of fields
- Number of skip patterns
- Calculation of secondary/composite fields
- Number of tables
- Number of data entry forms to be coded
- Consult hours
- Knowledge of databases (re: training of users)
