The Clinical Research Office provides services to assist with:
- Planning a study – the steps required to get a study designed, reviewed and approved
- Budget preparation
- Regulatory approvals – Health Canada and FDA
- Clinical trial registration
- Study management tools, templates and standard operating procedures
- Developing a study team
- Privacy – protecting personal health information (PHI)
- Auditing and monitoring studies through the Continuing Review Program
- Support services and infrastructure for clinical research conducted at SickKids
- Good clinical practice training and other educational opportunities
