Pre-Operative Appointments
Sometimes during a surgical clinic appointment it may be determined that your child may require surgery. 
We aim to provide a pre-anesthetic screening appointment for all children/teens/young adults pre-operatively. This screening appointment is conducted with one of our nursing staff, or if needed, by an Anesthesiologist. This is decided according to the child's health status.
This appointment may be conducted by a pre-booked telephone appointment, or an in person appointment, depending on your child's health status.
*Presently, not all surgical services are screened.
