Details: | Research-based Theatre Presentation November will be Bioethics Month at CHES Rounds this year. In honour of this special theme, we have arranged an excellent line-up of presentations that reflect a variety of Bioethics topics and research methodologies. The first in this series will be the presentation of an innovative theatrical piece based on data collected by the CIHR funded Canadian Program of Research on Ethics in a Pandemic (Can PREP) - University of Toronto’s Joint Centre for Bioethics. CHES rounds on Nov 8th will be at a different time and place: 2 - 3 p.m. in the Bear Theatre at SickKids room 4302/4303. Abide with Me: The Story of Two Pandemics An article by Kate Rossiter entitled "Playing With Ethics: Using Theatre and History to Capture Ethical Dilemmas&qyitl which introduces this fascinating story and relatively new methodology can be accessed at http://www.jointcentreforbioethics.ca/enewsletter/docs/2010oct.pdf |
