Nurturing Change: using motivational interviewing approaches to prevent and reduce harms associated with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD)

This workshop is designed to enhance the skills of service providers working in prenatal and early childhood settings:

1) To present an overview of FASD, including recent research
2) To engage and support pregnant women and mothers who use alcohol or other substances
3) To identify and support infants and young children who may be affected by prenatal alcohol exposure, and their families
4) To discuss the impact of early intervention with infants and young children with prenatal alcohol exposure

Key Speakers will include:
