Details: | The Open Minds Across Canada Mental Health Symposium 2010 is an initiative that will host ten same-day national workshops that disseminate current children’s mental health research findings. SickKids is the lead Toronto for the symposium in partnership with Healthy Minds Canada. Topics will include: “Anxiety Disorders in Children and Adolescents: What Helps and What do we Need to Know?” By Drs. Katharina Manassis and Pamela Wilansky-Traynor, “Current Updates in the Treatment and Prevention of Eating Disorders” by Drs. Leora Pinhas and Gail McVey, and “Making Sense of Online Conversations about Mental Health” by Mr. Neil Seeman. Registration Instructions: here |
